the reason that the amount of money being donated went up in the first few days is because everyone was very exited and happy to donate money for terry fox then it dropped down to $5 because they had a pretty high amount and were happy with that and then it had a HUGE shot up to $60 dollars because they now had heard that the school was offering a movie and pizza party. So then everyone wanted to get their money in to win a movie or pizza party. Next it dropped again and they were confident that the amount they had was pretty good. Around the end everyone was just putting in last minute donations to make their amount even higher .
